Upload & Analyse is the most direct route to commercial insight from your actual business data. Rather than entering figures manually, you upload the document you already have — a P&L, a management accounts pack, a cashflow statement, an Excel export from your accounting software — and the AI reads it, extracts the relevant financial data, and produces a structured commercial analysis.
The tool reads PDF documents, Excel files, and CSV exports. It works with standard management account formats, Xero and QuickBooks exports, Excel P&L workbooks, and most structured financial document formats. Scanned documents with poor formatting may produce incomplete results.
The AI identifies gross margin, net margin, overhead structure, cost line benchmarks, and any significant year-on-year changes visible in the data. It flags cost lines that appear above typical benchmark ranges for the business type identified, revenue trends, and liquidity indicators where cashflow data is present. The output is a structured PDF report with a commercial interpretation and recommended actions.
The analysis is as good as the document uploaded. An incomplete or incorrectly formatted document will produce an incomplete analysis.
